Abstract
It is shown that at quantization of fields only symmetrized Hamiltonians lead to a divergent zero-point vacuum energy, while in the case of unsymmetrized Hamiltonians the zero-point vacuum energy and zero-point charge do not arise at using the charge conjugation symmetry conditions. The observable effects are described exactly or as the physical vacuum fluctuations corresponding to loop diagrams (Lamb shift), or as the fluctuations of fields of real sources (Casimir effect). Both kinds of vacuum fluctuations are created by the interaction Hamiltonians, and they have no any relation to zero-point fluctuations of (external) vacuum fields creating the zero-point vacuum energy in free Hamiltonians. Therefore, in fact the known
experiments exclude the existence of the zero-point fluctuations of the pure vacuum fields and the zero-point vacuum energy, and allow one to use only unsymmetrized Lagrangians for the relativistic fields.
